Troy Newham graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mercer University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double Major in Accounting and Finance. Troy was made Director of Training in 2010. He has been involved with the intern program since its inception in 2008. Troy currently handles the development and implementation of the training programs. He has been at Henderson & Godbee since January 2002, and he specializes in tax preparation. Troy has significant experience in tax and accounting research.

Anthony H. Tanner, Jr.

Tony is a staff accountant in the audit department with Henderson and Godbee. His primary focus is low income housing audits, but he also works on individual and corporate income tax returns. He received a BBA in Accounting from Valdosta State University in 2011, and will start working towards a Masters in Accounting this fall from Valdosta State. Tony is a new addition to the Henderson and Godbee team who joined after his internship during the 2011 tax season.

Scott R. Simpson, CPA

Scott graduated from Valdosta State University in 2003 with a BBA in Accounting and Finance and became a licensed CPA in January 2007. He specializes in auditing services, including financial statements, governmental audits, and low income housing audits, in addition to income tax services for individual and business clients. Scott has been with Henderson & Godbee since 2007. He currently lives in Valdosta with his wife, Dwan.

Robin M. Tedstrom

Robin is a staff accountant and works in the Small Business Accounting & Administrative Services department. Along with financial statement preparation, payroll and sales tax returns, and other data processing services, Robin also prepares individual tax returns and assists with client 401k and profit sharing plans. Robin is originally from Orlando, Florida, and a job transfer brought her to Valdosta in 2003. Robin has worked for Henderson & Godbee since June, 2009. She received a BS in Business Administration-Finance from the University of Central Florida in 1983.

Philip graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia in 2005 with degrees in Marketing and Psychology. After spending two years in marketing and sales, Philip moved to Valdosta, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Valdosta State University. Starting as an intern in 2009, Philip joined H&G full-time in 2010. His areas of specialization include low-income housing audits, employee benefit plans, and partnership and individual income taxation. Philip lives in Valdosta with his wife, Jessica and their dog, Bo.

Marie is a data processing accountant and works in the Small Business Accounting & Administrative Services department. Marie is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and specializes in QuickBooks setup and training, in addition to financial statement preparation, payroll and sales taxes, and other data processing services. Originally from Waycross, Georgia, Marie lives with her husband, Eddie, in Valdosta. She has been with Henderson & Godbee since 1998 and is currently pursuing a BBA in Accounting from Valdosta State University.

She graduated from Valdosta State University in July of 2010 with a BBA in Accounting and a minor in Spanish, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Accountancy at Valdosta State. Keeley has been working with Henderson & Godbee since December 2008.
